About me

Hi, my name is Oleg, and I am the founder behind the RentoTo initiative. With a background in finance and a strong passion for coding, I decided to move beyond theory and apply my knowledge to real-world entrepreneurship. After being forced to leave Ukraine for well-known reasons, I personally experienced how frustrating it is to lack everyday items that were left behind — things like starter cables for a dead car battery or a drill to hang a TV. I quickly realized I was not alone. Every day in community chats, people are searching for simple tools they need for short-term use. That was the moment I decided to take action and build a solution.

Since then, I have developed an MVP product in the form of a Telegram bot and gathered early user feedback while gaining hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development. History shows that people are willing to adopt new platforms that solve practical everyday problems, as seen with companies like Vinted or Booksy, which successfully transformed how people access second-hand goods and services.

Today, I am seeking pre-seed investment to bring together a talented, like-minded team and fully dedicate myself to scaling this vision. RentoTo is positioned to capture the growing demand for access-based consumption and become a leading platform for everyday rentals.
